He rebuilt his mod to 3.3 with some new features, haven't gotten around to installing it myself. Be sure to back up your files and any mods youve previously installed and want to keep.

EDIT - Installed, works fine except for 1 error, trying to change the interface with Riita's causes it to crash after the gear select screen.

EDIT 2 - I believe I can fix the error, I just have to modify zero's interface.tex with the changes riita made.

For those of us like me who don't know what all this mod includes, how about a little more info? I expected an actual installer, and not the entire directories.

Yea I kind of expected the installer, too (he had one before). Basically he repacked all the files in those directories as PNG. With his own modifications, crosshairs, map BG changes, trails. He didn't include a changelog so its kinda hard to list all the stuff he's done.

You'll like the new chaos map BG for sure.

I definitely like the new chaos BG, but what's with the grid on the floor? I'm only just now curious just how many people knew I used to get motion sick having autobalance off in maps like chaos, dc and ff. >> I like a lot of the lighting changes, really.

Interface changes:
targeting reticules (found these on a GunZ forum Echoes pointed me to) Slightly modified
Transparency
Radar (Enemy/Mobs/Ally/Form)

Maps:
"brightened" sky-boxes for most moon/space(Chaos/DC/FF/G-ARK) maps so i can see the mobs
"blank" mini-maps for CC/NC/G-ARK Engine Room
repacked sky-boxes/mini-maps/map ground textures

Other:
Trails (Phoenix/Lightning/Dragon/Heart/Snow/Pumpkin/Plasma) removed the swastikas and pentacles
Zerk Animation (red/blue)
Kit Rings (more Visible) Cause I'm borderline legally blind
Black Invisible Wings

O_o:
All repacked for performance (TGA>PNG) except skyboxes(jpg) and ground textures(jpg)
If i remember anything else I'll post more

But that doesn't answer what the deal is with that grid in Chaos. Either way, I've installed all of these, barring the item.tex, load.tex and interface.tex since I like the one I have now.

I'm not changing the cross hair and the skill icons can be manually installed although i may incorporate them and the engine icons to my mod, giving credit where its due of course.

I cant figure out how to change the crosshair without it crashing, I'll let prophett take a wack at it.

You get used to the grid after a while, but I'd had an epiphany for a video...In high speed of course. The grid kinda ruins it for me, unless we never pitch downward. >>

How exactly did you add the frames? Editing the .x files i would assume?

I know the chaos/dc maps are changed to make the mobs be seen easier but the bright colors make me want to claw my eyes out :/

i borrowed an x file from a mark that uses 6 frames.
the only application i have to open xfiles is lithiUnWrap but it destroys the animation sets.
and looking for a working copy of ultimate unwrap
