Does anyone know how game links itemID (for example armor's ID) with corresponding OBJ file? Where it stores information for such linking?

I would be very gratefull for any information on this topic.

Are you asking about spawning/dropping stuff in private servers?
Only the official versions of ACE were given manuals on how to work the GM tools.

No, I'm not interested in spawn\drop - this information is located in DB on server side.

For example: we have "Twintail S-I" with ItemID 7002200. How can I find out what OBJ file is used to store this weapon's 3D model and textures? The game receives only ItemIDs from server, so this it is able to find corresponding OBJ files locally to render items.

Any idea on how game does this?

So you just want to edit the graphics on that weapon? I'm afraid that involves manually going through the files themselves until you find the right one. I think ALL regualar twintails use the same OBJ file.

Yes. Similar weapons use same OBJ files, but... manualy go though all files? I doubt that game does that. Wink There definitly should be some table, where items are linked with OBJ files.

Ok, I was able to find all IDs I needed, but I'm stuck with finding correct texture for character with ID 0104.

It seems, that this is the only model with old texture left in Res-Obj files. Any tips about where the real texture is located?

To be more specific about my question. Here are two textures of this character from 20010400.obj:

20010401.tga

20010402.tga

And here is how this model looks like:

As you can see, this is not what we see in game. Texture 20010402.tga is OK, but 20010401.tga is an old texture.

So, any one knows where the real model is?

character models can delete in Res-OBJ = you not see this character. Maybe suffice txt files to program objectinfopatcher and paste new character in res-eff.
This not crc! This have checksum.

crc or cycle redundancy check is a type of hash or checksum
And last I checked ked the server does look at these files.
Perhaps your referring to the rp2 server that probably does not, but ep 3+ servers do.
